To Cases of Uterine Prolapse Combined with Cervical Carcinoma

Abstract
|
|
|
The rarity of the cervical carcinoma combined with procidentia has been generally accepted because the prolapsed uterus was considered to have immunity against cervical carcinoma in the past.
But if the patients with uterine prolapse were examined more carefully without general ignorance on the part of the physician regarding cervical carcinoma, more cases of cervical cancer would probably be discovered among those patients.
Recently we experienced two cases of uterine prolapse combined with squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix and these cases are presented with a brief review of literature.
